Just who is Mike's Carwash, Inc.?

Well, considering we rank in the top one percent of the 30,000 carwashes in the United States today, you might think we would be a chain or a publicly traded company of some kind. Instead, we're still a private, family-owned business, committed to maintaining our high quality and continuing to deliver the type of service we're known for.

The first Mike's opened in 1948 in Fort Wayne, IN, and today you can put a shine on your ride at any of our 36 locations. In Indiana we operate Mike's Express Carwash in Indianapolis (20 locations), Fort Wayne (6 locations), Kokomo, Lafayette, and Terre Haute (1 location each). We also have seven Ohio locations in Cincinnati (6 locations), and Dayton (1 location).

Our 37th location in Granger, IN opened in Spring 2009 under a new logo and fresh look. It's still Mike's and you can expect the same great quality, but we have made it even quicker and easier to get a car wash with the Mike's Pay Terminals.

No matter which location you visit, you'll encounter the two essential components that have fueled our success. First, we give our customers an exceptionally clean and dry vehicle on each visit. Each Mike's Carwash is equipped with the most advanced, state-of-the-art equipment and technologoy available. Our specially formulated detergents, soft cloth, computer-controlled equipment, and our special touch-less hot-air dryers are just a few of the features that make Mike's the ideal way to clean vehicles.

The second, and most important part of our continued success are the Mike's associates. We are very selective in hiring our associates, and the unsolicited remarks we receive from our customers tell us that our pickiness pays off.
